http://www.ketzle.com/frost/roadnot.htm this poem, "the road not taken" by robert frost is exellent. apart from having a good take-home message, he has fit the poem togather perfectly, reminding you of more then the poem says in the beat. the beat sounds the same as a horse trotting, despite the fact that the person in question is standing still staring at two roads deverged, evidently to remind us that even when we stop to consider our options, life is continually moving around us. it reminds you not to miss your chance, to do something diffrent from everybody else.

Great poem to post. Robert Frost is one of those poets that every person should read just because of his influence on many modern day poets and writers.

I agree with Anna. This is one of the first "classic poems" I read. I like its simple message, and how it appeals to so many people in so few lines. Only Frost could turn the clichéd fork in the road into something so unique and well-loved.

Yeah, even though it is quite a simple poem, its got such a nice touch. When I read that poem, it put a smile on my face. Its really quite amazing, like Jordana said, that it appeals to so many people in so few lines and I think thats what makes him such a unique poet. I really enjoy Robert Frost's work. Good choice, Danielle.
